This popular guided walk follows one of the most picturesque sections of the Kumano Kodo, leading from Takahara to Tsugizakura-oji through beautiful mountain landscapes.
Walk beneath towering cedar forests, along historic stone-paved paths and past sacred oji shrines that have welcomed pilgrims for centuries. Along the way, your licensed guide will share fascinating stories about the region's history, culture and spiritual traditions bringing the Kumano Kodo to life.
