The owner is also a yoga instructor with extensive experience in wellness and retreats. Deeply inspired by the unique energy and peaceful atmosphere of Kumano, she opened the guesthouse with the hope of sharing the restorative power of this special place with travelers from around the world.

Food is another highlight of the stay. Homemade meals are carefully prepared using quality ingredients, with a focus on natural foods and avoiding unnecessary additives. Vegetarian and vegan meals can also be prepared and dietary requirements and food allergies can be accommodated upon request.

The owner's home is located on the same property and with her extensive knowledge of the Kumano area and the Kumano Kodo trails, she is a reassuring local presence should you need advice or assistance during your stay.
